Mongolian Central Securities Depository has resigned MoU with Korea Securities Depository in July 2016. The signing of MOU with KSD gives us a great opportunity to cooperate mutually on exchange of information, experience sharing and improving IT system for depository, registration, clearing and settlement business.
On April 24, 2018 Mr.Jae Woong Kim, Head of Global Business Team, Global Business Department, KSD and Mr.Byung Wook Ahn, Senior manager of Global Business Team, Global Business Department, KSD visited to MCSD and had a meeting with MCSD and MSCC’s Executives.
KSD delegates introduced about Knowledge Sharing Program /KSP/ which is launched by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance with Korea Development Institute as the implementing institution, is demand-driven and performance oriented comprehensive consultation project designed to assist development partnership countries in key policy areas by sharing Korean development knowledge and experiences.
Ministry of Strategy and Finance, Korea Development Institution and Mongolian Ministry of Finance and FRC confirmed topic for the 2017/2018 KSP with Mongolia.
In 2019 KSD is recognized as the implementing institution among KSP project in order to conduct in depth survey and research about Mongolian securities depository, registration, clearing and settlement and IT. Both side agree to share experiences on the dual listing.
