Following the invitation of Mrs Z.Narantuya, Chairman of the FRC, delegates of the FSA of Japan lead by Mr Kiyoshi Hosomizo, Commissioner are visiting Mongolia. At the start of his visit, he had met the management of the FRC and exchanged information regarding project implementation that would improve the capital markets regulation, share of knowledge and experiences within the objectives to develop the financial markets.
Mrs Z.Narantuya, Chairman of the FRC has introduced the policy that is being implemented by the FRC to privatize certain percent of the state owned companies and strategically important mining deposits. In addition, she has delivered the information that in the coming year, 3-4 IPOs are planned with the assistance of the “Capacity Building of Capital Market in Mongolia”, funded by the JICA.
Mr Hosozimo emphasized the importance of providing information and have the public understand the benefits of the privatization of the state owned companies and shared Japan’s experience of the privatization of the state owned companies.
Moreover, within the framework of the visit, as reported by the Public Relations Department of the FRC, Mr Kiyoshi Hosomizo, Commissioner of the FSA and the official representatives will be meeting Z.Enkhbol, Speaker of the Parliament and M.Zoljargal, President of Mongolbank.
